Miami Dolphins Making No Waves
Two former Dallas Cowboys were added to the withering Miami Dolphin squad. With injuries mounting, they now have Igor Olshansky and nickel cornerback Nate Jones. There are now 6 cornerbacks on a 53 man roster. To make room for the new entries, Larry Johnson was cut for a second time. Someone else will also have to be cut or placed on injured reserve. Meanwhile the Dolphins better come up with a plan while traveling to play the Cleveland Browns this week. They desperately need a win. Tony Sparano said he doesn’t have an answer . This is not an inspirational message from the coach who is supposed to be creating the answers. None of the personnel moves have worked. Guys are playing out of position. Best example perhaps is Vernon Carey who should immediately be back at right tackle. Reshad Jones is a strong safety. The folks in Georgia told him so. Maybe the University of Georgia could call Tony and remind him. Boy was Andre Johnson happy. Why not? He was defended by Nolan Carroll, not Sean Smith or Will Allen. Now you have your worst cornerback on the best receiver in the NFL. Small wonder the Dolphins can’t defend. It all starts at the top, and the top seems clueless. Go back to Football School. Your time is running out. Tony Sparano, Jeff Ireland you need to start showing some real football ability. The Fins and the Fans need a win.
