A Shiner, But No Shine
While Steve Downie of the Tampa Bay Lightning sported a black eye shiner, unfortunately the Pittsburgh Penguins took away any shine from the team, with a final score of 8-1. It was ugly right from the start. Really from the start. Seven seconds into the game, Pittsburgh scored. This was the quickest goal ever scored on Tampa Bay. It was a pile on after that, not the divisional clash we anticipated. Coach Guy Boucher said it all, “we had nothing, and they had everything”. The NHL can do this to you. Hopefully the Tampa Bay Lightning can bounce back and show what they are made of.
