Hurricanes are Always Strong In August, Right?

Unfortunately, this hurricane season which is at it’s most intense in late August thru Sept is equally stormy for the University of Miami Hurricane “Hurricanes.”  The days of glory are gone.  The days of Golden are here, but Golden, the coach has been dealt a blow, a big one.  The initial suspension ruling is in, and we know that Jacory Harris, Sean Spence, Adenale Ojomo  and Travis Benjamin are out for the first game.  Ray Ray Armstrong and Dyon Dye out for 4 games, and Olivier Vernon out 6 games with a $1200 fine.  So now it is up to Al golden to figure out how to weather this sports storm, minus 8 players.  The quarterback will be Stephen Morris against the Maryland Terrapins.  If he does well, he may keep the job for the year.  He really has something serious on the line.  The Defense has serious, serious dilemmas, with the guys sitting out accounting for much of the defense last year.  Maryland may need a new scoreboard with so many Terrapin scores going up.  Looking at the upcoming Canes schedule, it’s going to be tough, but mentally I think Al Golden can get these guys to play.  After all, it’s all about “The U”.
