Washington Redskins tickets are always one of the hottest tickets in the NFL. After long years of wiling away their time at the bottom of the NFC East, Redskins owner Dan Snyder decided to bring in ex-Redskins coach Joe Gibbs, architect of a Redskins' Super Bowl victory, to put his team back into contention. Portis managed to stay healthy in 2005, something the Skins need again since the depth at running back is questionable. When the Redskins pass it's usually to star wide receiver Santana Moss. Moss, once considered too small to be an effective wide receiver, spent 2005 proving the critics wrong again, totaling 1,483 yards and notching 9 touchdowns.

Defensively the Redskins biggest need was a productive outside linebacker. With Lavar Arrington taking the free agent route to New York, the Skins wheeled and dealed their way into a position to take Roger McIntosh, a 6'2" 230 lb backer out of Miami of Florida. McIntosh should be plugged into the lineup immediately, giving Washington talent and longevity in a vital defensive position.
