In December, the Chargers went in to play the Colts with a record of 8-5. Again, the team put an end to an opponent's winning streak, the Colts being 13-0. But finishing 2005 at 9-7 the Chargers were eliminated from playoff contention.

Now, as San Diego Chargers tickets get closer to becoming available in the box office, the team gets ready for another heart-pounding season. Though the Chargers needed only a few draft picks, minor changes were required and taken care of. For instance, Antonio Cromartie, number nineteen in the draft, will fill a much needed position for a skilled cornerback. They also took on draft picks such as offensive tackle Marcus McNeill and surprising pick quarterback Charlie Whitehurst.
